En un lugar remoto dedicado al negocio de la pesca, sobrevive Hee-Jin, la propietaria. Ésta se dedica durante el día a alquilar plataformas flotantes para pescar y vender comida a los pescadores. Durante la noche les vende su cuerpo. Un día llega al lago un ex-policía llamado Huyn Shik que acaba de matar a su amante y está dispuesto a suicidarse. Hee-Jin lo impide y una extraña compenetración nace entre ambos.
Mute Hee-Jin is working as a clerk in a fishing resort in the Korean wilderness; selling baits, food and occasionally her body to the fishing tourists. One day she falls in love with Hyun-Shik, who is on the run from the police, and rescues him with a fish hook when he tries to commit suicide.
